Ryuji and Wednesday aren't carted off to their date until it's dark out, and they will soon see why. The drive is long, but soon enough, they arrive at... a spooky corn maze!

They are then given some coats because it's a little chilly out here, a couple of bottles of water, and shoved on into the maze. Have at it! Good luck!

Highlights:

- there are jumpscares in this maze
- when they hit a checkpoint, there's at least a bale of hay to sit on and catch their breath
- it will take at least an hour or two to get through this behemoth of a maze--so much time to have fun!

[Oh, if Ryuji wanted to land a date with Wednesday that she'd be really into, he's succeeded. Though she stands there seemingly unfazed at the entrance of the maze (after the two of them had been shoved in), looking tiny in her oversized black puffer jacket and holding a bottle of water, there's a cutting interest to her gaze that belies her excitement.

And, well. She does eventually crack a smile.]

C*sa B*nita! This is a knock-off of a popularly weird restaurant in Colorado. It is themed after... it's themed. It's sure themed.

There are cave divers, a game room full of arcade games, some spooky caves to go through, and a lot to wander and see!

- there is mediocre mexican food included
- there ARE alcoholic beverages... if they can figure out how to order them without being found out
- just roll with it

The smells here are overpowering, all vying for attention without heed for balance. Sanji's sensitive nose scrunches up before smoothing out as he glances around the interior. He's not sure what all of this is supposed to be, but one thing's for sure.]

No date is complete without some fancy fondue! Dorothea and Sanji are instructed to dress nicely and carted off to a nice dinner! It's a proper, full, three course affair: cheese fondue, dinner, and then chocolate fondue for dessert.

It's a very romantic place. Enjoy!

It's the perfect sort of fun but also not serious at all! You're given a club (in the color of your choice), a pass for 18 holes, and a neon glow-in-the-dark ball.

There are soft drinks and standard snacks like popcorn at the snack bar.

It's really quite beautiful inside, between all of the lush greenery and water fixtures and various other foliage. And, of course, there are hundreds of beautiful butterflies flitting around the place.

Are living world bugs bigger than the ones in Hell? The ones people dream about are usually really, really, big! Like the size of cars sometimes. And hairy.

Welcome to the carnival!

It's dusk when they're brought there, which means the rides are all lit up, and it's quite beautiful. Not too crowded, but with enough people to make it feel alive.

The waves are quiet, the moon is full, and the weather is perfect for a stroll along the beach with shoes in hand. (Cal didn't you say it was cold a few dates up) that was then and this is now.

They've got miles of ocean and beach stretched before them, and all of the time in the world to enjoy it.

in keeping with the...... warm......? weather?????? anna's gone with a simple white sundress and sandals, though they've been taken off in favor of feeling the wetter sand between her toes. her hair's not up this time, though she's at least curled it a little more as it falls over her bare shoulders and done a bit of make up. lip gloss. the usual.

this is her date night, dammit. she's so excited. and nervous. ]

Crabs come out when it gets to be this late. If we catch some, maybe we can get Sanji-kun to bake 'em up back at the house -- seafood's his specialty.

... But! Once they get inside, it becomes clear that it's a fairy tale themed escape room. The puzzles are tricky, but not impossible, and the vibes are immaculate for a spooky but beautiful fairy forest.

Wow, there are so many things to bounce on here! There are bouncy houses and bouncy obstacle courses and trampolines and soft bouncy gloves to beat each other up with and--

They're sent to a ropes course!

The course is very tall and very impressive, but it's safe! They'll be clipped in and wearing helmets and good to go. Otherwise? They're set loose to help each other through the course and have a good time.

- there are a few sections where they can only make it through if they help each other. teamwork!!
- It's just good, wholesome fun
- after they work up a hearty appetite, they can have a nice little cafe lunch at the facility

They wouldn’t send them anywhere unsafe, right? Well. At least it can’t be any worse than some of the missions the class had been sent on at the Academy.]

I suspect this will be a bit more of a challenge than getting ourselves up to the roof of the house.

Lessing and Dorothea are sent to... a music festival!

There are a bunch of little stages, all of which have their own bands or musicians performing. This means there are a dozen different genres that they can go between if they so choose.

[ Lessing really isn't much of a smiler, even though it's not impossible to get one out of him. By and large his expression falls naturally into something that looks a bit like bored indifference, but it's clear he's perked up a bit at the setting they're in.

His ears are lifted as he takes in the sound of the competing music, used to the interplay of different songs battling or sometimes even complimenting one another from all of his years lingering around the university. His gaze lilts slowly this way and that, but he doesn't seem to have any particular musical source he's drawn to over another.

Because he and Maomao have been sent to some botanical gardens! It's indoor, so the weather is perfectly temperature controlled, and the plants are all put together in pleasing ways.

There's a beautiful lake, even, in the middle of the whole thing.

You even get to skip the lengthy line (TV production rights), to be seated in a little, comfy corner seat by the window. And then you're given a menu with absolutely outrageously tall and adorable parfaits.

Have at it! I hope this is a different day from when Ritsuka went to the ice cream parlor.

As soon as they duck in to the dusty building, it is obvious that Josuke is incredibly uncomfortable here. He makes a visible effort to duck away from any spiderwebs, and tries his best to not step his fancy shoes anywhere too dusty. Even though it's like, impossible. ]

The hell kind of date is this... I knew reality shows could be stingy, but this is a step too far.
