[ Up Mark goes! And yes, it's supposed to be for fun, but what if this still means something to Josuke and he does a bad job... potentially mortifying??

Seeing how easily into it Josuke gets causes him to relax, though. Like, he's still a bit of a bundle of nerves, but they settle as he starts singing. Mark looks at him, gaze soft, almost admiring. Josuke is so free and in the moment... he doesn't even need to look at the screen...

... Mark does, though, and he's still a bit more rigid than he'd like, but damnit he's going to try — even if he does start out quieter than Josuke. He needs to build his confidence up...! ]

But when I woke up this morning, could have sworn it was judgment day!

[ Well, it's a start. Mark's still looking a little stiff, but if he has anything to do with it, he'll get him to loosen up before the song's over. He sings Prince's lines a little more seriously and little less goofily (because he thinks Prince is COOL and SEXY!!!!!), combing his fingers through his hair while looking over at his companion. ]

Sky was all purple, there were people running everywhere...

[ He gives Mark a Knowing look, trying to get him to sing the next line along with him. He'll even do the lower harmony (badly, because it's not like he's a real singer); he truly knows this song inside and out. ]

Tryin' to run from the destruction, you know I didn't even care.

[ NOW GO OFF ON THE CHORUS MARK!!!! ]

[ ... Oh, that combing his fingers through his hair, though. Yeah, Mark definitely can't pull that off. He's a little breathless watching Josuke get into the next line, and has to inhale to be able to join him.

Not that he has the presence of mind to try for any harmonizing, just using his normal singing voice — but at least, to his credit, getting it in time with Josuke.

... And then the chorus, which, ohgodohgodohgod— ]

[ Beaming at Josuke when he thinks he's got it! ] So tonight, I'm gonna party like it's 1999!
