Because he always acts like he's doing things for the "greater good". Both sinners and demons live in Hell, but he'll always blame us first. He'll let them out on parole even though he claims that we're both irredeemable.

[ equality in a sense and something will is likely familiar with, which is ironic. ]

[it doesn't ring as equality to him at all, but rather. . . the same sort of discrimination he sees among the tribes back home. he doesn't like being compared to someone like that, but. . . something about what he said and did had reminded Minami of this man, so he must have done something wrong]

You said he always blames you first. . . ah, I assume you mean "demons." For what reason? Just because you're demons?

[people shouldn't be judged based on what they are!! that's prejudice!!]

Cuz demons do terrible things! Cuz we're demons! Just because it makes humans pissy or sad or angry doesn't mean anything. It's just how we are even if that's not nice.

That doesn't mean. . . ah, "humans," as you call them, aren't at fault sometimes, too.

People are capable of doing bad things.

Because the first thing you said to me was about her! And it's not because it's her, it could have been a monkey or the Prime Minister of Japan. Who starts off a conversation where they're trying to understand someone by talking about someone ELSE?
