You've been sent to... a butterfly pavilion!

It's really quite beautiful inside, between all of the lush greenery and water fixtures and various other foliage. And, of course, there are hundreds of beautiful butterflies flitting around the place.

Some might even land on you! Hooray!

Highlights:

- There is a tarantula you can visit named Suzie
- There's a little cafe outside of the pavilion area itself where you can get coffees and drinks and little snacks
- uh idk the butterflies are very cool

[ you know if he keeps asking for things and keeps getting rewarded, he really might learn to ask and not take? maybe, very, very, eventually.

anyhoo who knows why production said yes but of course minami was going to ask. so here they are! minami has tsukasa's hand in his (which tsukasa is probably used to by now?) and he's pulling them inside immediately, looking around in awe. ]

Are living world bugs bigger than the ones in Hell? The ones people dream about are usually really, really, big! Like the size of cars sometimes. And hairy.

Tsukasa isn't sure if maybe this is punishment for pissing off the producers or what but--

He's getting paler and paler and paler with every single word Minami says, and Minami is absolutely dragging him forward this time, or he'd be frozen in place.

B-b-b-b-bugs... the size of c-c-c-cars...]

Minami notices the resistance of course but he doesn't really clock it, as taken as he is by everything there is to look at around him. at least until tsukasa speaks or tries to at least, because then he's whirring around to look at him.

Tsukasa-chan, are you afraid of bugs? [ he says this oh so sweetly. ]

Th-they're so...

[He is quivering. Shaking.]

Eeurgh...

[Yep, he is terrified of them and not even trying to hide it.]

Hehehehe! [ tsukasa does not deserve this but minami is having the time of his life. at least tsukasa is probably too distracted to see him lick his lips right? ]

I can protect you from them! I'll take my fee at the end. [ there aren't even any out in view right now tsukasa, plz.

he threads their fingers together for closer contact, taking a moment to nuzzle at the other boy's shoulder (their height difference...) and starts to walk again, though at a reasonable pace this time. ]

I might not look it but I'm pretty strong!

[He is so petrified he doesn't even properly react to all of this unexpected affection. He is a mess.]

R-r-right. Just... have to make it through this. M-maybe there aren't even any--

[bugs? In the butterfly pavilion?

Anyway, a butterfly flutters by and he is crouched on the ground with one hand over his head (the other is still captured by Minami unless he lets go), and:]

Aaauuugh!!

[this will be so embarrassing for him later. Yeah he's even afraid of butterflies.]

[ okay being afraid of your usual creepy crawlies is pretty common. but of butterflies? he's laughing even as he crouches down to be at tsukasa's level. ]

Fineee, I'll carry you. [ scoops tsukasa off the ground and attempts to hold him securely in his arms. ]

[okay he knows Minami is a demon but he was not expecting to just be picked up like that.

Minami is just

So much smaller?????

He squawks in surprise when he's scooped up that easily, flailing a little despite himself.]

[ this is a threat!!!!

because even if tsukasa is about as heavy as a loaf of bread to him, flailing about makes him more like a fish. ]

If you're that scared this is way easier. Cuz even if I dragged you, you wouldn't see anything that way 'cept for dirt and, you know, bugs. Now you can see the flowers and plants too!

[ because there's gotta be beautiful fauna for the butterflies to perch on. ]

[... Okay he does still at that threat. He might even make a tiny little "eep" at it. Minami probably wouldn't but also Tsukasa knows he is perfectly capable of it.]

R-r-right... It's... fine. I'm... not a-afraid of, um, butterflies.

[he is obviously and this is a silly comment for him to make.]

No? I can hear your heart, you know. Or is that just cuz I'm holding you like this?

[ this is not a lie, he absolutely can hear tsukasa's heart since demon privileges.

he probably makes this worse by giving him an affectionate squeeze (he's careful not to squeeze too hard! ) ]

[on this day, Tsukasa was not squeezed like a tube of toothpaste. That's good. Definitely good.

Anyway, he just drags in another shaky breath and clears his throat.

WHAT IF HE JUST... IGNORES EVERYTHING THAT'S HAPPENING. HIS POOR PRIDE. HE IS BEING SO UNCOOL RIGHT NOW.]

A-anyway! Are you enjoying this-- [oh my god was that a butterfly--no, chill, Tsukasa] --place, at least?

[ he starts to laugh again but doesn't press because he's being fed with these delicious reactions. and with that settled (?) he'll start to actually walk them around, completely ignoring the presence of everyone else. ]

It's really green! Hell is red and purple and all the plants are dead except the dangerous ones.

[Tsukasa is too busy carefully flinching away from every butterfly that flutters even remotely close to complain about being carried.

Also he likes his nose, and doesn't want it to be bitten.]

Red and purple... [taking mental notes for the next time he has to be a part of a show with a demon? Yeah, maybe.]

No... b-b-butterflies, I assume...

No butterflies! But there's a lot of creatures with horns and demons too.

[ it's a 50/50 chance on when tsukasa flinches if minami walks closer to the butterfly or pivots away from it. none of them get actually within landing distance, but still. ]

[omg what a brat

He will get all of the flinches and little noises of panic he desires every time he pulls Tsukasa closer to a butterfly instead of further away.

also he objectively knows demons are worse than butterflies so he will, for once, keep his stupid comments to himself even though he is more scared of butterflies than demons personally.]

... What else is there? [pls distract him, he still sounds a little strained]

[ cute... minami thinks this is the best date ever. ]

Minotaur, kappa, sinners with all kinds of body modifications. Oh and the people from Hell's Organization I guess that make sure we don't escape. They stick out like a sore thumb with their billowy stupid white cloaks. It makes them easy to trip!

[... huh?]

Hell's Organization...? So there's an organization like that?

They're not regular people, are they?

No, they're all stupidly devoted to one God or another, there's a bunch! Sometimes they're people who were priests in their life or just people who want to keep fighting "evil" cuz it's all they get off to.

They're good, we're evil, they're justice blah blah blah. [ he sticks his tongue out and then swats a butterfly away before it gets too close to them. ]

[These poor butterflies have done nothing wrong.

Tsukasa relaxes when it's not near as close anymore though.]

Yeah, it's really boring! Cuz I'm an incubus I can cross over to the other side in other people's dreams but I can't really interact with the living world.

This is way more fun! [ i hope tsukasa doesn't get motion sick because he's twirling (them both) now. ]

[Not yet he isn't, but if Minami keeps that up he sure might.]

Be careful! I understand that you're excited, but you might hurt the butterflies...!

[Like yeah he's petrified of them but they should probably not hurt them, either.]

No way, they can fly and I can't. [ he stops but more because his train of thought has shifted, looking up at the canopy above them. ]

Man, I wanna fly...I wonder if I could learn to one day.
