Does time pass differently for you? At the bottom of the World Pillar, everything is so much slower than up in Hekseville. I was only down in Botoume for a few days, but a whole year had gone by in town...

[She's gabbing a little bit, but there's an earnest reasoning behind him. She's trusted that Minami isn't going to sabotage their game for now; she's holding onto that sincere thank you like a reassuring lifeline. No, it's nothing like that! It's kind of... the deepest down you can go from up above. ... But it's not a very nice place. There's a deep void beneath it, and time moves so, so slowly down there.

I wanted to see how far down I could go, but then I got stuck. [A lot of things happened. A lot of time passed.]
