Welcome to week two, Teens Who Are Definitely Searching for Love!

Hopefully everyone got a lot of rest over the weekend, and are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the upcoming week, because there are a few things of interest this week.

But first, some changes of note in the house!

First: there is a giant rectangular box on the living room table, addressed to Lessing. It is a care package. The only thing in it is his sword.

There is some Bauernbrot bread on the counter. Ask Lessing about that too.

There is now a hot tub near the pool. It’s large enough to seat about six teens comfortably, but you can get more in there if you really try for some reason.

Okay I think that’s everything. Additionally, Tsukasa is here early this week! He’s looking pretty perky, seemingly recovered from the Match Ceremony, and he’s got some interesting info to share with everyone.

[Wednesday rolls around, and hopefully, people have been enjoying their dates and their fallout from spin-the-bottle. Everyone's having a good time, right?]

Great job, everyone! [Now she just sounds like Tsukasa...] I knew we could do it.

[Kat holds up her completed sheet proudly, waving it around with the kind of joy some people reserve for their diplomas.]

I can totally taste that hint! We're going to get a good clue, for sure. Um... but should we pick who we want a hint about based on who we want to send to the booth, or the other way around...?

Well. . . what pairs from the last match ceremony do we think may be our single light?

Of the ones that weren't matched up by Tsukasa at the end, [ and were extremely petty on stage-- ] There's Dorothea and Sanji, me and Mark, Ritsuka and Lessing, and you and Minami. I'd say those are the only four we should even consider as being the light.

[ he laughs a bit! ]

Unless production seriously wants to screw us over.

Out of those pairs. . . Sanji and Dorothea, or you and Mark.

I would choose one of you four.

I agree, I think it could be me and Mark, too. We're pretty similar.

[ They're both protector types, both mild mannered and both mama's boys. There's the saving people trauma too, but he's not about to put Mark on blast in front of everyone. ]

Then again, Ryuji and Wednesday are really different, and they're the only match we have to go off of. I think Dorothea could be a good match for Sanji, too, but I'd like to see what they have to say about it.

[ Geh.... this hint is so tricky. In his heart of hearts, he feels like they might get cheated out of something useful, if they're not careful. They need to think seriously about this. ]

If you ask me.... we have two options. Pick someone who has a broad pool of people they think they might be matched with, so we can narrow it down. Or, pick someone who is reasonably certain about a few people, and try to get them even closer to a guess we could test. The latter one's a big gamble, though.

If we're thinking someone with a broad pool, that could be you, or Mark, or Kat or Doro-chan...

"Reasonably certain" could be Anna-chan, Minami, Sanji, or Steve. If the latter two are convinced they're going to be partnered with one of the girls, that could help us try to narrow it down.

A lot of those people had their chance to pick this last week... and I think a couple of us almost got called but were chosen. [Not sure who, though.]

We could also look for someone who probably will be up this week and might give us something to go off of. [People aren't going to like her for this, but - ] Like Goro.

I think... it's risky to pick Yanami. [ As far as he can tell, she's certain on Will and doesn't know for sure past that. Moreover, he does not want her feelings crushed if the hint is "you're not matched with Will"; they should find out a more logical way. It's nothing personal, evident on how he offers his opinion neutrally. ] I'd rather pick someone who has a few people they're considering. I'm open to hearing people who think otherwise, though...

[ He's quiet as he thinks about this for a moment, before pitching his idea. ]

It depends on what we want. If we to find more matches, we could try some different sets, but if we want to guarantee we get a match we can have Mark and Josuke go to the truth booth, and have the other set pick who picked them last time if the two of them don't end up being a perfect match.

You're talking about next ceremony, right? It's true that if we send me and Mark, and we don't match up, if you and Ritsuka, Will and Minami, and Sanji and Dorothea all sit together at the ceremony, we'll guarantee at least one match.

[ He shakes his head. ]

But I don't think we can afford to play it safe like that. We've only got four chances to guess.

Get a hint about Mark and send Sanji and Dorothea to the booth. That’s it.
