Welcome to week two, Teens Who Are Definitely Searching for Love!

Hopefully everyone got a lot of rest over the weekend, and are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the upcoming week, because there are a few things of interest this week.

But first, some changes of note in the house!

First: there is a giant rectangular box on the living room table, addressed to Lessing. It is a care package. The only thing in it is his sword.

There is some Bauernbrot bread on the counter. Ask Lessing about that too.

There is now a hot tub near the pool. It’s large enough to seat about six teens comfortably, but you can get more in there if you really try for some reason.

Okay I think that’s everything. Additionally, Tsukasa is here early this week! He’s looking pretty perky, seemingly recovered from the Match Ceremony, and he’s got some interesting info to share with everyone.

[ He's quiet as he thinks about this for a moment, before pitching his idea. ]

It depends on what we want. If we to find more matches, we could try some different sets, but if we want to guarantee we get a match we can have Mark and Josuke go to the truth booth, and have the other set pick who picked them last time if the two of them don't end up being a perfect match.

You're talking about next ceremony, right? It's true that if we send me and Mark, and we don't match up, if you and Ritsuka, Will and Minami, and Sanji and Dorothea all sit together at the ceremony, we'll guarantee at least one match.

[ He shakes his head. ]

But I don't think we can afford to play it safe like that. We've only got four chances to guess.

[ If you care about finding matches... probably not, if you care about avoiding the loss of wishes.......

Lessing won't argue though, because he knows not everyone is here for the same thing he is. ]

It's true, it wouldn't find us many more matches.

Just think about it. We'll lose 'em all if we can't solve this in the time limit.

[ Haaahh... he plucks his comb out of his coat pocket, smoothing out the sides of his hair. Bluntly: ]

If someone loses their wish that needs it, they can have mine, anyway.

[ That may be true... Lessing might personally be alright with that for himself, but that's not the case for everyone here. He's quiet for a moment as he thinks about it.

What he wants is important, but even if he does earn the wish he can't be sure that it would actually deliver. There's powerful forces at play here though considering all the worlds they've pulled them from, so the possibility isn't zero, and he doesn't want to lose it.

Selfish a little bit, even if his wish is being made for the sake of another person. He can't expect anyone else to care about that fact though. ]
