Welcome to week two, Teens Who Are Definitely Searching for Love!

Hopefully everyone got a lot of rest over the weekend, and are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the upcoming week, because there are a few things of interest this week.

But first, some changes of note in the house!

First: there is a giant rectangular box on the living room table, addressed to Lessing. It is a care package. The only thing in it is his sword.

There is some Bauernbrot bread on the counter. Ask Lessing about that too.

There is now a hot tub near the pool. It’s large enough to seat about six teens comfortably, but you can get more in there if you really try for some reason.

Okay I think that’s everything. Additionally, Tsukasa is here early this week! He’s looking pretty perky, seemingly recovered from the Match Ceremony, and he’s got some interesting info to share with everyone.

I wouldn't have either, but I guess he has good reasoning. We might already have found my match, and he and I have gotten along, so...

[ That's two reasons why he could have been singled out: the first that it's just plain logical; the second that... well he was not expecting the second part to factor into things. ]

Yeah, okay, I get it. He's definitely better than Akechi, anyway.

[ Love is important, Steve. Not so important that Mark can't be embarrassed about being shut down like that, but important.

So, with an awkward laugh, ] I guess. That... wasn't exactly cool, what he did at the match ceremony last week.

[ And Mark has had good interactions with Akechi! But! Watching him be that petty was not cool. ]

[ i'm so sorry mark........ you deserve someone who will support your tender heart...

Steve rolls his eyes with a melodramatic sigh. ]

Yeah, no kidding. The guy acted like I had the plague.

[ ... poor simile. Steve pauses briefly, then pretends he didn't. ]

Not that I care. He was just embarrassing himself.

Although Mark does wince on Steve's behalf at plague, giving him a little concerned look. Buddy...

But if Steve isn't going to draw further attention to it, then neither is Mark. ]

... Yeah, he kinda was. [ For as much as he actually likes Akechi... that was a stupid move on his part. ] I hope this week goes a lot better for you, man.
