week two | dates
You worked up your courage and asked someone out on a date! Good job!
Now you have to hope the producers are kind re: where they send you.

Assuming we can make anything decent I think we should make as many phallic looking objects as possible they can't film this and then place them around the house. To further discourage filming.
[This is the most teenager thing that's come out of him in a very long while. Even if it's just to be vindictive and problematic it's still a baseline teenager desire to draw dicks on things.]
no subject
You know what, I'm down.
[ She is also still a teenager. And that just sounds like an incredibly funny thing to do. ]

Then let us learn how to do this job we're not at all qualified to do and see what sort of horrors we can unleash upon this world.
[The moment they're free from their instructors and unleashed into this world of glass making it will be dick making time.]
What color are you going to make yours?
[Important question followed by how many do you think we can make in the time we're allowed here. Hopefully many.]
no subject
[ Because they must not only be glass dicks, they must be garish glass dicks. ]
no subject
Fair enough. [His dark blue and black striped one is probably too ambitious anyway. They're not likely to be very good at this and trying to do duel colors might beyond their meager skill set.] A very vibrant red from me then.
[Time to make some incredibly bad to mediocre dicks.]
no subject
... Beautifully mediocre, yeah. ]
Just for the record, I don't have any experience with the subject material, so. You're gonna have to be my judge on if it's accurate enough.
[ Surely all his years of work led to this. ]
no subject
Didn't you say you did history restoration? [Or something like that.] That sort of thing is everywhere an any ancient society. In Greek art they would depict men with smaller "specimens" because that was more attractive. And monsters were always drawn with larger ones. And that's just a basic example off the top of my head.
Have you really never seen one?
[Color him skeptical.]
no subject
If I'd had the time to stand around and look at art and sculptures and things instead of literally everything else, too... I would've been fine with that. It was more working alongside the locals more than anything.
[ And now here she is. ]
no subject
There's not a lot to them, really. Kind of boring. Mostly uninteresting. Leading cause to some of the worst decisions known to man.
[Okay... this one is going to be bad. It's full of wobbles and unnecessary ridges. Not very realistic. He'll just have to try again with the next one. If some are really so unspeakably bad and can't even stand upright maybe they can find a way to hang them in doorways and such.
Little phallic sun catchers.]
no subject
[ With a snort, fingers slipping slightly and oh no, this dick is gaining a personality. ]
no subject
But talk of dicks aside...]
Where are you going after this little venture? Or do you not have your work schedule planned that far out?
no subject
[ Could be America, could be South America... ]
I know it sounds exciting and liberating, but I feel like this is the first time in a long time that I've been able to catch my breath. Mostly.
no subject
But I do think it's better than sitting in one place... Never seeing past your own backyard.
How to obtain the happy medium seems... difficult. Something I think a regular person might never achieve.
no subject
[ Yeah, it's hard to imagine that. ]
I don't know about "never", but it does seem rare. I wonder how you'd even get into that position in the first place.
no subject
[Someone who works hard every day to just live and pay the bills will still never get to do half the things they want to. It's simply impossible.]
When I finally had money the first thing I did was buy a bed. And the first thing I want to do with my wish is to go... anywhere else. But neither of these things wouldn't have happened if I wasn't lucky. Lucky with my fame and luck with this... If my circumstances had remained as they were I'd have never been able to do anything.
I can't pretend I know what you go through on the daily or how hectic it is but... you have a very envious career.
no subject
[ Ritsuka is quiet for a moment. ]
I'm only in my position because I messed up and then a lot of things went horribly wrong. So in a sense, I was also lucky, but in the worst way.
But I think if that's what you want to use your wish for, to go somewhere else entirely... that's not a bad idea. I kind of feel like... you feel there's nothing else back there for you. All the same, though, luck maybe gets you the opportunities, but the rest is you and what you do, isn't it?
no subject
Maybe... [There's nothing back home for him. So that is what he's going to use his wish for. A new life and all that.] What are you going to use yours for? To undo this big mistake of yours?
no subject
So I'm not really sure yet--maybe use it for extra funding?
[ Or an additional energy source. ]
no subject
Extra funding for more work? No one can say you're not dedicated to your job.
no subject
[ A little wearily. ]
no subject
So... what is it that you really do?
no subject
[ So many normies here... ]
no subject
I... used to have supernatural powers. So I have seen a thing or two in the past couple of years. I can believe more than you think.
no subject
[ A sigh. ]
History restoration...
... Of humanity.
no subject
Protecting important historical people is the conclusion you'd draw from wording. But...
He squints a little trying to make sense of it in his head.]
So... what...? You're trying to protect or I guess restore someone like Oda Nobunaga or Toyotomi Hideyoshi?
[That sounds genuinely ridiculous but he's rolling with it. Or at least trying to understand it.]
