Welcome to week two, Teens Who Are Definitely Searching for Love!

Hopefully everyone got a lot of rest over the weekend, and are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the upcoming week, because there are a few things of interest this week.

But first, some changes of note in the house!

First: there is a giant rectangular box on the living room table, addressed to Lessing. It is a care package. The only thing in it is his sword.

There is some Bauernbrot bread on the counter. Ask Lessing about that too.

There is now a hot tub near the pool. It’s large enough to seat about six teens comfortably, but you can get more in there if you really try for some reason.

Okay I think that’s everything. Additionally, Tsukasa is here early this week! He’s looking pretty perky, seemingly recovered from the Match Ceremony, and he’s got some interesting info to share with everyone.

[As if the day hasn't been bad enough for Dorothea . . .

After the dream he also had the other night, this could well be the final straw. Sanji slowly raises his hand to point at the fallen candied lemon slice, his voice flat.]

Don't worry about it, Sanji-kun. I'll handle it. Have a few extra since he can't appreciate them.

[ she's being responsible today. ]

[He scowls, conflicted.]

He's a brat. Don't let it get to you, okay?

[ a gentle pat. ]

[He would love to do that, because it's what Anna wants, but his gaze is glued to the candied lemon that was spat out in spite of the comforting gesture. Every fiber of his being boils at the sight of it there, discarded. He wants to scream. He's going to scream if something doesn't change.]

[makeine]

[ ........... "please no one eat that" i said but

the way he's looking at that candied lemon

is very murderous, and she knows how he feels about cooking and food

and god she does not want to kiss minami in any fashion but sacrifices for friends must be made, so anna folds it neatly as she listens to others' talk and pops it into her mouth. casually. no one needs to see it. ]

[No one but Sanji, who hasn't been able to stop looking at it. His eyes bulge when she eats the discarded slice herself, and his knees buckle as he nearly falls to the floor before locking his legs in time. His breath catches, and a very faint, strangled sound escapes his throat in his attempt to be discreet for her sake.]

[makeine]

[ a glance.

and a smile. she's got you, buddy. ]

[I have kissed that mouth]

[makeine]

[ and he'll get to kiss it again if he POLITELY IGNORES HER SACRIFICE. ]

[hgeegh]

[Sanji is horrified that she had to do this on his behalf . . . and yet, when she turns that smile on him, he blushes up to the tips of his ears.]

Hehe, don't worry it's not actually a coin or lost treasure~

[ this makes total sense, trust. ]

[hgeegh]

[He pauses mid inhalation.]

What's that supposed to mean?

Hmm...I don't know~.

[hgeegh]

I know you're not the type to mince words, so spit it out already.

Did you sleep well last night?

[hgeegh]

[His expression darkens as he takes a step toward Minami.]

Why, you . . . Was that you?!

[inparfait]

I was!!! Was it a nice trip down memory lane? It's important not to forget your past~.

[ he's not moving because he's loving every second of this. ]

[hgeegh]

[He grits his teeth.]

Quit joking around! You think that's funny? There's no way I'd ever forget!

[inparfait]

Mmm maybe not considering how you're so stubborn about food. But a reminders always good, right?

[hgeegh]

[It was supposed to be scary, wasn't it?

The nightmare is one that opens with terror, yet ends in contrition and something more. It's not just about food, although Minami isn't wrong to point that out. Feeling a tremor come on, Sanji huffs once, twice, then fishes out a lollipop from his pocket to gnash on as he turns away.]

[ it was supposed to be a bad dream, of which terror certainly fits the bill but isn't all encompassing. he can do more, and maybe he will, but it's a thought for later.

for now he watches sanji turn away with a grin.
