Welcome to week two, Teens Who Are Definitely Searching for Love!

Hopefully everyone got a lot of rest over the weekend, and are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the upcoming week, because there are a few things of interest this week.

But first, some changes of note in the house!

First: there is a giant rectangular box on the living room table, addressed to Lessing. It is a care package. The only thing in it is his sword.

There is some Bauernbrot bread on the counter. Ask Lessing about that too.

There is now a hot tub near the pool. It’s large enough to seat about six teens comfortably, but you can get more in there if you really try for some reason.

Okay I think that’s everything. Additionally, Tsukasa is here early this week! He’s looking pretty perky, seemingly recovered from the Match Ceremony, and he’s got some interesting info to share with everyone.

No thanks. I'm actually really tired right now, so I think I'll go to bed.

[ And she's leaving without even waiting for the result. Bye. ]

no, sorry, it's anna's turn to get up and follow after. guess she's not going to see the result either. is asa really going to the bedroom she'll sit/climb to her bunk if so. ]

[ Yeah she is... if only because it's empty right now. She throws herself down on the bottom bunk face-first and just. Heaves a tired sigh. ]

[ great! she's sitting on the edge of the bed, then laying down on her side. back to asa, since she needs the privacy. ]

If being able to shove things in your mouth was the only reason someone got popular, wouldn't you be top of the list with that foot of yours?

[ but it isn't said meanly, more joking and soft. and it's followed quickly, too-- ]

I get it, you know. I wouldn't be any better if I saw Will-kun go in with someone. I was like, this close to tearing those dumb metal things off Minami-kun's head last week.

[ Uggggh. She'd tell Anna to get out if she had the energy; instead she curls up even tighter into a pathetic ball, hoping by some miracle she'll just disappear. At least then she wouldn't be able to cause more problems for people.

After thirty seconds pass and she still hasn't been erased by some unseen power, she's forced to deal with both her own continued existence, and the fact Anna is trying to comfort her. Not entirely successfully, but her presence is the only reason Asa feels a need to do more than wallow silently in her misery for the rest of eternity — because she's pretty sure Anna will just talk forever if she tries that. ]

I don't even know why I said that.

[ Because she's not mad at Kat, she's mad at Dorothea. But she's not really mad at Dorothea, either. The only person she's mad at is the one she hates the most. The one she's always hated the most, that's ruined her life from the beginning. Too bad she has to see her in the mirror every day. ]

She's been nothing but nice this whole time. Now she's gonna hate me... and I deserve it. [ Not said to be self-pitying: she knows she really messed up. She'll be lucky if any of them don't hate her after that showing. ]

... Asa-chan.

[ not mii-chan right now. anna scoots back until their backs touch. ]

When people get hurt, or they're mad, they say all kinds of things. Heck, even a bad day can do someone in. Kat-chan doesn't seem like the kind of person that hates others easily anyway...

[ the other people, well. they can have their own opinion. anna's firm in hers. ]

I would. [ She admits easily. Her grudges aren't so easily gotten over unless you're Anna apparently. ] And if she doesn't, then...

[ "She really is an idiot", but she's said enough mean things about Kat today. Even if this one is actually true. ]

... You should go back out there before people come looking for you. I don't think I can deal with seeing anyone else right now.

[ she'll say it for her, and after a moment anna turns around to rest her head against asa's back.

just quietly, like she isn't going to listen to the request. but eventually she'll speak again, no room for argument in her tone. ]

I'm coming back as soon as we're done. We'll have a sleepover, and I'll tell you if anyone clocks Akechi-kun.

[warhawks]

[ The faintest huff of laughter at that. Imperceptible, if not for the fact Anna is literally pressed against her right now. ]

Yeah. Thanks, Anna. [ And not just for the Akechi thing. ]

[ good. she'll slip out of bed then, going to join the rest outside. ]
