Welcome to week two, Teens Who Are Definitely Searching for Love!

Hopefully everyone got a lot of rest over the weekend, and are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the upcoming week, because there are a few things of interest this week.

But first, some changes of note in the house!

First: there is a giant rectangular box on the living room table, addressed to Lessing. It is a care package. The only thing in it is his sword.

There is some Bauernbrot bread on the counter. Ask Lessing about that too.

There is now a hot tub near the pool. It’s large enough to seat about six teens comfortably, but you can get more in there if you really try for some reason.

Okay I think that’s everything. Additionally, Tsukasa is here early this week! He’s looking pretty perky, seemingly recovered from the Match Ceremony, and he’s got some interesting info to share with everyone.

[ He's having some himself, with milk and sugar. ]

So, what do you think? Think we'll get two in a row?

I think it'd be great if we could.

[ But yes, let's go for coffee. Also with milk and sugar. ]

And if we don't, we still end up with a pretty hefty hint. I think Sanji and Doro-chan would be good with each other but also with other people, so it's really tough.

Me too. But I also think that guy is about as likely with any of you girls.

[ Said with some Tiredness....... ]

Two in a row would be great for momentum, though. It'd also solve last week entirely.

Right, then we could focus on different pairs.

[ Leaning in to murmur so only she can hear, and covering his mouth with his mug: ]

That bastard will be fine. I checked his health with Crazy Diamond, and his lungs are like a newborn baby's somehow.

Murmuring also, in sheer disbelief. ]

[ He gives her an I don't know look, shrugging his shoulders. ]

Either something's up with him, or he's smoking some weird cigarettes.

I'm glad he's healthy, but that's kind of incredible.

I also didn't know you could do health checks??

[ Dang, Josuke. ]

Mm. It's hard to explain, but...

[ He waves his hand vaguely. ]

When I touch something, I can tell if something's wrong. Like if I touch a machine, I can tell if a screw's loose. [ It's a sixth sense, in some ways. It's like his ability hones in on all things out of place or abnormal. ] It's kind of the same with the body. I don't need to see an injury to heal it.

[singurarity]

That's really cool! It's like we have an in-house doctor even more than I thought.

[ Definitely impressive. ]

[ He lets out a dry exhale. ]

Don't get too excited. I can't fix colds.

[ yall are on your own if you get sick... ]

That's okay. I get hurt way more than I get sick!

[ BRIGHTLY. ]

[ With a reassuring smile. ]

... Well, okay, I hit my head on the counter tackling Fou, but. That wasn't bad!

[ He gives her a flat, unimpressed look. ]

Did it bruise? [ using his superior height to try to look... ] Let me see it.

[singurarity]

[ She'll obligingly turn and move her hair so he can see the back of her head better?

No bruise, but there's sure a bump. ]

[ He only wants to see how bad it is so he can know how hard she's going around whacking her head on counters.... with a sigh, he gently rests a few curled knuckles against the crown of her head, a golden, diamond like shimmer encasing his fingers. To her, it'll feel like the pain melted away into a soothing, warm sensation — and if she runs her hand over where the bump originally was, she'll find that it's mysteriously disappeared, along with any lingering feeling of soreness. When he moves his hand again, it'll be like she was never hit in the first place. ]

There, dumbass. Be more careful.

[singurarity]

[ Dang. That's some powerful stuff, and Ritsuka blinks as she processes the sensation, tipping her head backwards to catch his eyes with a thankful little smile. ]

It was to protect Sanji's food. But I'll be careful. Thanks, Josuke!

[ He gives a shrug in response to her thanks — this is literally just a day to day thing to him. ]

Come tell me if something else happens.

[ A privilege of being close with him, to be sure; everyone else, he'll just fix if he happens to touch them and find something wrong. His friends, though... Koichi and Okuyasu are always asking him could you fix this for me? After most of his life spent keeping his powers to himself, it's nice to be depended on now and then. ]
