Welcome to week two, Teens Who Are Definitely Searching for Love!

Hopefully everyone got a lot of rest over the weekend, and are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the upcoming week, because there are a few things of interest this week.

But first, some changes of note in the house!

First: there is a giant rectangular box on the living room table, addressed to Lessing. It is a care package. The only thing in it is his sword.

There is some Bauernbrot bread on the counter. Ask Lessing about that too.

There is now a hot tub near the pool. It’s large enough to seat about six teens comfortably, but you can get more in there if you really try for some reason.

Okay I think that’s everything. Additionally, Tsukasa is here early this week! He’s looking pretty perky, seemingly recovered from the Match Ceremony, and he’s got some interesting info to share with everyone.

[ Are you enjoying your Thursday AYTO-ers... well, it's about to get even more special, because Ritsuka and Josuke can be seen taking a very large cloth bag from production, which takes both of them to carry. It's all tied up with a ribbon, so you can't see what's inside! The two of them will set it down in the main living area and call everyone over who's around, but also, if you don't come by they'll probably protag at you eventually. With his usual lazy, laid-back grin: ]

Hey. Me and Ritsuka won big at the carnival.

No reason for all of us to not benefit, right?

[Kat has definitely used her shifter powers to score an unfair advantage, so she has the look of a knower when she flits over to do a full circle inspection around Santa's bag of goodies.]

You got me something? [Yay!] Lemme see! [she bounces up on the balls of her feet, clapping her hands. They should probably hand it over, or their secret carnival game manipulation will get out...]

We sure did. It was easy.

[ He laughs good-naturedly, very proud of their little scam. They rig the games so much at carnivals that he feels totally vindicated. Anyway, for Kat's gift, he leans down to rustle around in the sack before he produces— kitty ear headband!! It's a perfect match to her hair and has a little black bow on it, too. It looks very plush and comfortable. ]

For you two, I'm sure it was no problem! [But she is still onto your cheating ways, Josuke...

Kat fits the cat ears on over the headband she usually wears, testing them out. It blends right in, especially with the extra band in the way.]

Well, how do I look? Did everyone get a hat? We should wear them for the ceremony this week... or something like that.

[ kat cheating is fun especially when you get free things out of it.... ]

Oh, looks like it matches pretty well. We guessed right.

[ He's impressed! It looks cute, like she really has kitty ears. ]

But nah, there weren't enough kinds for everyone to get a hat. Can't imagine some people would even wear 'em... it'd mess up my hair, too.

[ Lessing is perhaps not making any big moves to go retrieve a prize right now, but he is admiring the impressive size of Josuke's sack.

[ Look Lessing doesn't emote much, but he does use enough tone and inflection for it to be clear the compliment is sincere regardless of what is going on with his whole face region at any given point of time. ]

Thanks! They were all rigged, so it was kinda like a "steal from the rich" sort of situation.

[ Sometimes rich people kind of deserve it... he actually does get it, even if he's not so sure about the actual level of "rich" that the stolee would be in this situation.

He will step forward though, giving her a questioning look. ]

[ Josuke laughs, digging through the bag's contents for Will's present. He uses sleight of hand and his superior height to hide it from him while he goes to give it to him — rather, to place it on his head.

It's a crown! It's got some jewels on it and is nicely shiny. Josuke smirks, thoroughly amused by he and Ritsuka's gift planning. ]

Fit for a king, you know?

[at first, the crown seems to surprise him, and his features grow slack as he stares at it. and then. . . a smile stretches across his features]

Ah. . . ! Is it time for my coronation already?

[HE. HE JOKES]

[He’s just going to side step whatever the hell is going on here as he makes his way to the kitchen for coffee.

Carnival gifts? Cheap toys for kids? Yeah he’s just walking past.]


(Aka: I got him in the room which was the best I could do.)

[ Too late, she's already trotting towards him to offer him one of those Sherlock Holmes pipes. It has bubbles, of course. Sanji is the only smoker here. ]

Don't throw it immediately away and I promise to tell you about working with the actual Sherlock Holmes?

[He is deeply and sincerely not impressed with this. And it shows. He also notes tweedle dum and tweedle dee got matching crowns to perpetuate the fantasy. Everyone in this house is a disaster.

But. The promise of being told real stories about Sherlock Holmes? Normally he'd be skeptical of a tale like that. But what she's told him so far about her work is wild enough to believe. Sort of like personas. So impossible that someone couldn't possibly make it up and be serious about it. That and with she how she waited and even hesitated to even talk about it and the genuine exhaustion she expressed while going into it. She's telling the truth about this.]

Sherlock Holmes, huh? [You've got him interested.] You have Arsène Lupin and James Moriarty in your bag of famous people too?

Lots of different stuff. Stuffed animals, toys, candy...

[ They really cleared the place out, and he doesn't feel bad in the slightest. As for Sanji's gift, he digs around for it before doing the same thing to him that Ritsuka did to Yanami earlier. ]

[Despite the skepticism written all over his face, he clicks his tongue and closes his eyes. They'd better not do anything stupid or he'll blow his lid.]

[Hard to miss the commotion with that huge bag being dragged in, so of course Dorothea is hovering around to investigate.]

Wow, I guess if I ever need a prize won somewhere, I know I can come to you two to get it done, huh?
