Welcome to week two, Teens Who Are Definitely Searching for Love!

Hopefully everyone got a lot of rest over the weekend, and are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the upcoming week, because there are a few things of interest this week.

But first, some changes of note in the house!

First: there is a giant rectangular box on the living room table, addressed to Lessing. It is a care package. The only thing in it is his sword.

There is some Bauernbrot bread on the counter. Ask Lessing about that too.

There is now a hot tub near the pool. It’s large enough to seat about six teens comfortably, but you can get more in there if you really try for some reason.

Okay I think that’s everything. Additionally, Tsukasa is here early this week! He’s looking pretty perky, seemingly recovered from the Match Ceremony, and he’s got some interesting info to share with everyone.

[ There's a small shake of his head when she asks her first question. No, hanging out with her hasn't been a drag at all. Even if she was disappointed about some of the events of week one, she's still friendly and kind, and seems to shine through with her.

He'll even give the smallest hint of a smile when she finishes up with her flirty remark. It is genuinely good to see her acting more light hearted than she was for a moment there. She does seem to be a good person to him. ]

Maybe. Only one way to find out.

[ Don't mind him as he gets up to move over to settle down next to her. ]

[Wait...he's really...

Maybe it's just that Lessing's come over to sit next to her now, but she's just now noticing his nice, quiet smile. It reminds her of how nice it is to finally see Raven relaxed and happy after she spent so much of her life being stressed. And just like Raven, Lessing seems to care a whole lot more about others than he reveals on the surface.

She tucks a piece of hair behind her ear, making sure her ponytail is brushed away from her shoulder, too.]

Yeah! We'd better test it out.

[ Lessing isn't the sort to intentionally cover up the fact that he cares pretty deeply about the welfare of the people around him, but his demeanor does make it hard to tell how he feels without getting to know him first.

He's not a guy who does a ton of emoting or talking, so you get moments like this, where instead of letting Kat have more prep time he'll give her a small nod...

[For someone who's never seemed particularly interested in the flirting or dating aspects of this show, Lessing is very charming when he just acts decisively like this instead of tenderly circling the subject.

Kat draws up in surprise when he closes the distance between them to press his lips to hers, making a soft but not unpleasant noise. Her face burns hot, and she brings her hand up to rest it briefly at the base of Lessing's neck, returning the kiss with the same gentle, soft press. It isn't particularly long and definitely not roaring with overwhelming passion, or whatever stereotype might come out of a regular spontaneous spin-the-bottle kiss, but it is vulnerable and sweet. In a way, it almost seems thankful.]

You're pretty good, [she murmurs, dropping her gaze when they separate.]

[ A passionate kiss in front of a group of onlookers doesn't really strike Lessing as something he wants to do all that much. The game is harmless though when people are playing it the way most of them have been, and Kat even manages to surprise him herself when he feels her hand on his neck.

He doesn't pull away even if his ears flick once in response, and by the time she lets go he looks just a touch flustered himself. ]

I... thank you?

[ That doesn't seem like the right response, but he's never been told he's a good kisser before.

He's also never done any kissing at all before this night though, so... ]
