Welcome to week two, Teens Who Are Definitely Searching for Love!

Hopefully everyone got a lot of rest over the weekend, and are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the upcoming week, because there are a few things of interest this week.

But first, some changes of note in the house!

First: there is a giant rectangular box on the living room table, addressed to Lessing. It is a care package. The only thing in it is his sword.

There is some Bauernbrot bread on the counter. Ask Lessing about that too.

There is now a hot tub near the pool. It’s large enough to seat about six teens comfortably, but you can get more in there if you really try for some reason.

Okay I think that’s everything. Additionally, Tsukasa is here early this week! He’s looking pretty perky, seemingly recovered from the Match Ceremony, and he’s got some interesting info to share with everyone.

[Well, Ritsuka is one of the braver ones here, anyway, she thinks.]

No harm in it.

[She turns her face, tapping at her cheek with one finger. Expression stolid as always, but it's clear she doesn't mind it too badly from Ritsuka.]

[ Ritsuka huffs out a fond laugh, leaning in to leave a light kiss on Wednesday's cheek. ]

That's how I feel about it, too.

[Kiss achieved! Harmless as it is, Wednesday accepts the gesture with more ease than she would normally. Maybe that's just how comfortable she feels around her.]

And does that notion apply to everyone here?

[Maybe she's reading too much into those ellipses but she's gonna do it anyway.]

[With that very Wednesday-like threat, she will not pick on her about this any more.]

Do you want a hug? [She asks this completely earnestly, absolutely undeterred from the serious face she's bound to be getting.]

Or... we can do something else from my list!

[A hug???? She's allergic to them, usually, though she will make exceptions for the sake of the game.

But of course she can't help but ask-]

What else is on your list, Kat?

Hm...let's see...

[She holds the sheet up to the light, kind of like she's inspecting a bill for counterfeit marks.]

I've got "swap outfits with someone!" Maybe we could fit into each other's clothes... "Tell someone how you sincerely feel about them." That's worth the most points! Ooh, or show off a cool skill! You wanted to know about shifting gravity, right?

[She's chatty, so she offers a lot of different options across the difficulty levels.]

[Good thing Wednesday has grown used to cheerful dispositions, having shared a dorm with one for an extended period. She just nods, her interest clearly directed at the lattermost.]

I do. Can you show me exactly what "shifting gravity" even entails?

Sure! But you might wanna step back a bit... people sometimes go flying because the force of the field is pretty strong.

[There are no rifts to pull in anyone here, at least... and the roof would do a good job stopping anyone who got too discombobulated by being caught too close to her powers.

Kat glows like the night sky, red lines appearing like veins or bones along her limbs, and the normal pressure that keeps the ground acting as the ground just...changes. Weightless and noodle-armed, she floats in the direction of the ceiling, then lands on it feet-first like she was standing on the floor instead.]

[ohwoe]

[She does step back, and just in time. Suddenly, something in the air changes, and there goes Kat, floating up to the ceiling and... standing there.

Wednesday looks up, tilting her head accordingly in a curious way.]

How are you doing that?

[Shifting comes so naturally to her now that Kat's almost forgotten the awe she felt her very first time she did it. Getting a surprised or impressed reaction brings that back a little bit... and from Wednesday, seeing her curious must mean good things too.]

Dusty! As long as he's by my side, this is the power I have. I can control the way gravity goes... mostly just for me, but I can pick things up, too.

[And falling doesn't really hurt her, but that's not something that feels that important to share right now.]
