Welcome to week two, Teens Who Are Definitely Searching for Love!

Hopefully everyone got a lot of rest over the weekend, and are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the upcoming week, because there are a few things of interest this week.

But first, some changes of note in the house!

First: there is a giant rectangular box on the living room table, addressed to Lessing. It is a care package. The only thing in it is his sword.

There is some Bauernbrot bread on the counter. Ask Lessing about that too.

There is now a hot tub near the pool. It’s large enough to seat about six teens comfortably, but you can get more in there if you really try for some reason.

Okay I think that’s everything. Additionally, Tsukasa is here early this week! He’s looking pretty perky, seemingly recovered from the Match Ceremony, and he’s got some interesting info to share with everyone.

[he slows to a stop when he hears his name, flashing her a smile as he waves in greeting]

[in one smooth motion, he hops off of his floating sword, grasping the hilt in one hand so he can seamlessly slide it back into his sheath. only then does he approach]

You seem happy today.

I mean, you're picking this week and Mark isn't. And you guys... and Sanji too, are probably all in the same boat. Since your matches are girls.

[ She's assuming. She hopes. ]

Yeah. I think Sanctifex Forden has been eager to claim the crown for himself for. . . years now.

[and so far, he is getting what he wants. but. . . not if Will has anything to say about it]

[he remembers. . . Anna told him that Sanji liked Asa, hadn't she? perhaps those feelings were mutual, and they really did do Sanji, Asa and Dorothea a huge disfavor with the truth booth this week]

[but it's too late to change what happened, isn't it? they just have to move on]

What she said to Kat was cruel. Tame or not, Kat didn't deserve it.

But if she's hurting. . . I can understand why she lashed out. [doesn't make it right. doesn't make it fair. but like with Akechi and Minami, there is always a reason]

anyway, this was way mushier than Steve was expecting, and, like a little kid, his face pinches a little. Gross, love... ]

Yeah, okay, I get it. He's definitely better than Akechi, anyway.

She's way too easy to disarm and win over with sweet compliments like that, whether they're actually flirty or just regular kindness. It goes immediately to her head, her cheeks, and her heart.]

Of course you did! It takes two to tango...and also to play this game. [Hehehe... Kat sits back on her heels a little bit, but she doesn't immediately go hopping back to her side of the room, either.]

. . . it doesn't feel like it's plenty. But I am trying.

[he's doing a lot more than just being his friend, too. . . but that is a long story for another day. and he can't-- he just can't-- talk about how his friend is the crown prince, the heir to the throne, in front of these cameras]

I hope to reunite with him one day.

[it's late when Will seeks her out, and he tries to make sure no one else is around when he does. where are you Ritsuka, can he have a moment alone]

That's because I've got something that'll put a smile on your face.

[ nevermind he always does when she's around... heart squeezing. she'll hold out the mysterious rectangle to him.

even just uncovering it'll reveal the surprise inside, imperfectly sliced pieces of crispy-looking chicken laid upon a bed of spiced herbs and rice. there's also a slice of lessing's bread tucked inside as well, a slice of gruyere carefully placed on top.

and a fork, naturally. ]

[ yeah don't equate akechi and minami to her best friend ever again. ]

Let her sleep it off and she'll be right as rain for the ceremony tomorrow. Mii-chan has a hard time apologizing, though... I'll try and get her to be open to it.

She's a good girl who wants to get along with others. So you won't hate her, right?

I'm just seeing who I get along with. Then whatever happens happens, you know? Love's spontaneous.

[ this is probably the most honest he's been, as opposed to acting like a frat boy about the whole thing... ]

[he gives her a curious look, but otherwise doesn't ask. he'll find out soon enough, anyway. . . and when he opens the MYSTERIOUS RECTANGLE, his brows shoot up, expression growing slack]
