Welcome to week two, Teens Who Are Definitely Searching for Love!

Hopefully everyone got a lot of rest over the weekend, and are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the upcoming week, because there are a few things of interest this week.

But first, some changes of note in the house!

First: there is a giant rectangular box on the living room table, addressed to Lessing. It is a care package. The only thing in it is his sword.

There is some Bauernbrot bread on the counter. Ask Lessing about that too.

There is now a hot tub near the pool. It’s large enough to seat about six teens comfortably, but you can get more in there if you really try for some reason.

Okay I think that’s everything. Additionally, Tsukasa is here early this week! He’s looking pretty perky, seemingly recovered from the Match Ceremony, and he’s got some interesting info to share with everyone.

Well, I'm not asking him. He was a total wad to me last week.

[ Steve hadn't even minded him too much until the ceremony... but acting like going up on stage together would kill him pissed him off. ]

[ Great. Thanks, Tsukasa. Just stay nice and still while Lessing leans in and plants one right on him.

The good news? It's a fairly gentle and chaste kiss.

The bad news? Tsukasa is no longer escaping this with no one kissing him on the lips.

Look... Lessing may have over assumed what Tsukasa's agreement here was for. ]

[ He doesn't mind with her making an effort albeit awkwardly, but if she doesn't want to he's not going to force her to join in. ]

I don't really mind. There's not much about me that's secret. I can't really do some of these. I doubt there are many people with a childhood like mine.

[ And he doesn't have anything he feels he can't be forgiven about, so... ]

[ There's a small shake of his head when she asks her first question. No, hanging out with her hasn't been a drag at all. Even if she was disappointed about some of the events of week one, she's still friendly and kind, and seems to shine through with her.

He'll even give the smallest hint of a smile when she finishes up with her flirty remark. It is genuinely good to see her acting more light hearted than she was for a moment there. She does seem to be a good person to him. ]

Maybe. Only one way to find out.

[ Don't mind him as he gets up to move over to settle down next to her. ]

[Sanji lets him, partly because he's distracted by the conversation. Although he bristles harmlessly at the first remark and crinkles his nose at the second, inwardly he's at relative peace. It's fine as long as they're just hanging out.]

He freezes, having not expected this at all, but his brain kickstarts back up in time for him to not make things totally awkward. And when Lessing pulls back, he clears his throat, rubbing the back of his neck.]

Lessing is... really cool, actually, just doing that without any hesitation.]

I wouldn't have either, but I guess he has good reasoning. We might already have found my match, and he and I have gotten along, so...

[ That's two reasons why he could have been singled out: the first that it's just plain logical; the second that... well he was not expecting the second part to factor into things. ]

[ Josuke has indeed made his general thoughts pretty clear; there's no need in Mark's eyes to request elaboration.

In fact, Josuke continues to make his thoughts clear, to the point that Mark really does have to concede. ]

Uh... thanks? [She's having a little trouble sussing out whether this is a neg or a compliment; nobody likes to be told they won't be chosen, but "alright" is basically full marks across the board from him.]

I didn't think you should go alone. If you're trapped in a miserable place and would be happier breaking free, even if it ends up hurting you... well, I think you're still happier getting out.
