Welcome to your fourth and final week, teens!

There aren’t many changes around the house today: it seems everyone is dialed in on what needs to be done and the upcoming week. Everything that was on the fritz last week is now back to normal, aside from the Dress Up Your Blorbo curse. You can still do that at will.

Anyway, it's fine that all seems quiet.

Loafers?!

[ oh god, he's doing more kicks. Steve flattens himself as much as he can while hoping Sanji doesn't accidentally blast splinters into him. Is the anti-violence magic protecting him, or is it just luck? The jury is out. Either way, after waiting a second or two to confirm Sanji isn't about to cave his skull in, Steve pops out of the newly-made hole in the box. ]

You've got some freaky strength, [ he says with a grunt as he climbs out. ]

This is nothing.

[Sanji hops off the box, landing in a careful crouch to avoid slipping on the wet ground. Then he straightens with one shoulder pointed in Steve's direction and watches the path ahead of them, past the ongoing curtain of rain.]

I'm guessing this is yours. Is this where we're supposed to be headed?

[newlugers]

[ he hops off the box and lands boots-first with a wet squelch on the muddy road of the bridge, running a hand through his hair before glancing around and making a small disgusted noise. Steve would have been perfectly okay never seeing this godforsaken island again!! ]

Hell no! That's not mine - it belongs to the crazy jerk that ran this place, and it's totally overrun with zombies. I'm not going back in there. [ he mistakenly thinks Sanji is talking about the mansion at the end of the road rather than the entire dreamscape. ] ... You didn't see any weird visions, did you?

[hgeegh]

Zombies, eh?

[He looks behind him, then Steve, seeming to search for something on the ground before lifting his head.]

I didn't see anything weird, but there was a beautiful lady asleep on your shoulder. [Lucky bastard.] Judging by the look of things, she must have been exhausted . . .

[newlugers]

There was what?

[ he saw Claire? Wait, he saw that?! Steve looks chagrined immediately, slapping one hand to his head. ]

Man! L-look, I didn't actually kiss her! I just thought about it!

[ he is overestimating how much of that memory sanji actually saw. to his own detriment ]

[He turns away.]

[No sense in losing it over something that didn't happen.]
