week four | mingle
Welcome to your fourth and final week, teens!
There aren’t many changes around the house today: it seems everyone is dialed in on what needs to be done and the upcoming week. Everything that was on the fritz last week is now back to normal, aside from the Dress Up Your Blorbo curse. You can still do that at will.
Anyway, it's fine that all seems quiet.
There’s plenty going on anyway this week.

Ho ho ho. Buon Natale. You have been visited today by three spirits. The final is the spirit of things yet to come.
I mean, of course, our production bills.
Are you aware of the average repair cost incurred during a ten-episode season of reality television?I come bearing word from the second greatest power in the world: money. The garden shed production cheaped out on for the Truth Booth cannot withstand the oppressive demonic energy of an incubus or the fabric of reality would shatter. In the event of a correct match the structure would simply explode. While I would be glad to see something so exciting, our worker’s insurance denied our last claim. Please proceed accordingly.
[Congratulations. You have unlocked your IC restriction to keep Cal out of the booth and have your state-sanctioned encouragement to wrap up your TB final discussions.]
Oh. There are chocolates as well. I had hoped to curse you with mistletoe, but this is what you get. Ahem. Please enjoy and share with one another so your hearts may be full.
[There’s an entire spread of different confections and related foods for each character.
Anna - Fluffy whipped mocha crème bonbon with white chocolate drizzle and espresso bean and chocolate shavings.
Asa - White and dark chocolate swirl bonbon filled with blood orange compote.
Dorothea - Silver-leafed milk chocolate flowers with an amaretto whip filling and wafer bottom.
Akechi - Marshmallow spice cocoa: a hint of chili in a rich dark chocolate shell wrapped around a melted marshmallow.
Josuke - Wrapped hazelnut-vanilla truffles dusted with gold and silver luster dusts.
Kat -
Whore lemon wedges.Mile-high seven-layer bars.Lessing - Tart lingonberry compote with unsweetened clotted cream on the side, with dark chocolate cups for sharing with others.
Maomao (to be sent home) – A trial roulette of various chocolates filled with trial doses of: emetics, alcohols, venoms, and antipyretics.
Mark - Triple chocolate bombs: Dark and mild chocolate shells around a warm cocoa filling when cracked.
Minami - Strawberry wafer crisp cakes rolled in graham cracker, served with whipped cream.
Ritsuka - Milk chocolate molded into the shape of a small cup and filled with orange honey cream.
Ryuji - Semi-sweet chocolate skulls set with chocolate covered pretzels and nuts, decorated with edible colored icings.
Sanji - Simple-but-elegant dark chocolate spheres with red wine-flavored cream.
Steve - Postmodern caramel turtle: candied pecans rolled in caramel, dusted with salt, and double-rolled in milk chocolate.
Tsukasa - Lemon-honey cream in a milk chocolate shell, decorated with edible gold leaf.
Wednesday - White chocolate ghost figures stuffed with matcha green ectoplasm cream.
Will - Layers of wild blueberry and lemon-flavored white chocolates in a five-tiered stack.
If I missed that your character isn’t a huge fan of sweets, like Lessing, feel free to substitute in a more appropriate dish.]

Er... thank you, Caren-san. [he thinks
he's taking his chocolate anyway.]

[She taps him on the head with her stack of bills.]
Out of kindness towards you, I will forego the exorcism. Also, I am retired.

Ah. Yes. Thank you. I'd appreciate you not... doing that.

anna feels kind of bad for tsukasa having so many people coming through his season now actually--
but never mind this one's her new favorite overseer she brought SWEETS and something tart which is yummy too. sorry. anna definitely isn't going to be part of discussions but now it's because she's stuffing her face. ]

[See, Asa, there's a way to compliment or comment on these things without getting jumped. You just need a little plausible deniability and an air of kind piety.]

Let's neither of us talk about Castoria blowing her up with garbage chocolate, please.]
I would be able to endlessly run these competitions if only I had one... Don't you think that would be wonderful?

ok kat's actual thoughts for catherding purposes
The first one is really risky... if we get it right, we're in a better place. If we get it wrong, we're in a lot of trouble. The second is safer but will have us guessing more either way.
I can't vote for myself... so for a pair that's never sat together I would vote for Mark and Anna. For a pair that has, I'd do Sanji and Asa. But I'll go if I'm chosen!

Yeah. It'd be in our best interest to send in a strong match, and those two fit the bill.

... I'd usually do something big and risky instead of playing it safe, anyway. I kinda leap before I look... at least this time we've talked it out.

I'm just gonna say it, I think we should vote for Mark and Yanami.
[ Said while he is chewing on his delicious truffles... ]
Will and Mark convinced me. Either way it falls, I think we'll have a pretty good idea of what the other matches must be. Will said if we assume the week two matches are Ryuji and Wednesday, Will and Akechi, Ritsuka and Lessing, Sanji and Asa, Minami and Tsukasa... then if Yanami and Mark are right, then there's only one way it can be. Me and Kat, and Steve and Dorothea.
If it's not them... the last match ups don't really work out based on the other assumptions. Cause Mark wouldn't be able to be paired with any of the remaining girls — Yanami, Dorothea, or Kat. So if it isn't them, won't we know our assumptions must be wrong?

I think both of those have the same strategical significance. I'll be voting for Mark and Anna— Josuke made a good argument for it.
