Welcome to week two, Teens Who Are Definitely Searching for Love!

Hopefully everyone got a lot of rest over the weekend, and are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the upcoming week, because there are a few things of interest this week.

But first, some changes of note in the house!

First: there is a giant rectangular box on the living room table, addressed to Lessing. It is a care package. The only thing in it is his sword.

There is some Bauernbrot bread on the counter. Ask Lessing about that too.

There is now a hot tub near the pool. It’s large enough to seat about six teens comfortably, but you can get more in there if you really try for some reason.

Okay I think that’s everything. Additionally, Tsukasa is here early this week! He’s looking pretty perky, seemingly recovered from the Match Ceremony, and he’s got some interesting info to share with everyone.

[ There's almost a comedy to how she gives him a friendly wave, and he returns it with a firm, determined nod, like she told him anything at all there.

Look he's the one picking this week, so he's making up his own mind. ]

But I can't say I really have a guess for most of the other possibilities.

Still, I know what you mean... if we can rule out more of the girls, that'll help us with Mark, at least.

[He nods. That look earlier . . . ]

If that's how you feel, I think it's worth the consideration. What the majority lean toward isn't always correct.

[Case in point: today.]

[ A bit of a half-laugh, half-apologetic sigh. ]

Yeah, that's true. I just want to make sure I'm taking all the opinions into consideration, too. But Lessing said he'd pick me tomorrow, so maybe we can see how that holds up.

[No one but Sanji, who hasn't been able to stop looking at it. His eyes bulge when she eats the discarded slice herself, and his knees buckle as he nearly falls to the floor before locking his legs in time. His breath catches, and a very faint, strangled sound escapes his throat in his attempt to be discreet for her sake.]

That's a good idea.

[And a good choice on Lessing's part, too.

It's time to stop beating around the bush on his.]

As for my opinion . . . I'll probably choose Asa.

Asa...

[ A pause, to think about how she'd been before she'd rounded on Kat. She'd seemed a little bummed out. ]

... Mm, that's a good idea too!

[His brow creases lightly as he sucks in a slow, contemplative breath.]

Do you think so? To be honest, I don't know if she'd be happy about it.

I think as long as you don't use a cigarette as a tampo--sorry, tissue, for your nose again, that'll be really promising!

Why wouldn't she be happy?

[His head lifts by a fraction. They saw that, huh? Good thing he managed to stem the bleeding.]

Ah, that is . . . I may have offended her sensibilities earlier this week.

[She looked disgusted. He doesn't want to make her uncomfortable by forcing her to sit with him if he's revolting.]

It makes the most sense.

[ Of the potentials they had week one, but also for him, who had been considering Kat, Josuke, or asking Tsukasa if he could just stay single if Dorothea and Sanji had been a match. ]

That's true... it would be nice if we could find his match.

[ Mark may be here for the wish, but he seems like he genuinely wants romance too at this point. ]

[The comfortable silence lasts for a time. Sanji isn't in a particular rush, but he also can't stop coming back for more. As soon as he inhales the last forkful, he sets the fork down in the bowl, wipes his mouth with a napkin, and straightens to beam at Anna.]

That was great, Yanami-san! It was the best meal I'd had in ages.

At least someone can appreciate my cooking properly. Nukumizu-kun could learn a thing or two from you!

[How does he explain that she clocked his libido from an unrelated topic and scoffed at it.]

I think so, too. He really seems like he'd be okay with actually finding romance here, on top of the rest. I sort of envy that.

[ . . . And the worst part is he can't deny it! He has needs and urges! The thoughts are always raging! But . . . ]

But I'd never lay a hand on her or any of you ladies! And I can keep it to myself. Then it should be okay . . . right?
