He doesn't quite get the angle on it, though, and only manages to knock down six pins. Which is fine by him, because the other four are grouped together, and surely even he can do this.
He sends his second roll straight into the group — no angles, no fuss, just a ball that was once again thrown a little too hard, going a little too fast — and emits a little puff of satisfaction watching them all go down.
Mark heads back to their seats, picking up his own drink to sip from, absolutely no worse for the wear. ]
