Even the best struggle to do the same thing over and over again. To reign in your own strength perfectly is not an easy feat. There's a bit of chance to it to. Certain pins can fall a certain way but they won't always fall the same way. Two pins hitting each other instead of hitting others can be the difference between a strike and a spare.
