Wednesday lets him say his piece all the way to the end, her dark eyes seeking his face the entire time. As though she’s looking for some flaw in the logic, just through her stubborn instinct of digging in her heels alone, but she’s finds that there’s… really nothing there to dismantle. Nothing that she feels like she must challenge, besides.

Once more, she feels a bit self-conscious, not the same brand of “nervousness” as Ryuji when it comes to the truth, just Wednesday Addams levels of pause. To know that she might step into the truth booth and be met with failure is maddening; finding success instead would be satisfying, but also… Then what?

…well, maybe it’s just as simple as Ryuji says. Just get to know one another. Nothing is set in stone.
